It might not stay long but while it’s here…
I’m so in it.
Because these pallets aren’t going to rip themselves apart.
these things were a beast to get apart.
Note to self…
invest in sawzall.
There are no pictures to show of the ripping apart process because by the time I was finished…
I was angry.
I was frustrated.
And I was filthy.
Those things are built to last.
I’ve been seeing this sign all over Pinterest and I have loved it for a long long time.
You can read how she does her sign here.
I didn’t follow her tutorial exactly because…
So I just did it my own way.
First I painted my boards with some chalk paint that I already had made up.
The boards were a little uneven which was fine with me, that’s why the fasteners are all over the place.
I don’t care…who’s looking at the back anyway.
I then used my heavy duty staple gun to attach some picture hanging wire.
Once secured, I created a template and then uploaded to blockposters and printed it out.
I then chalk transferred my letters like I always do. This is the easiest method to me but you could easily create a stencil.
My walls are gray and the decor is white so I felt that would work.
I was right…
I might have went a little too crazy around the “G”.
“Be the Good” shine.
And I’m happy that the sunshine and 80 degree temps have returned.
I just hope it stays.
